Hoping to participate with the RP community in Alganon. As of Dec 1st I'll be logging in my ranger and going at the start of something great.

I don't really have one, but they always have a good heart. I can't do evil characters. Like I had a warlock on WoW, he had a good heart but I gave him a good background to have a good heart, his parents died and his uncle was a warlock and forced him into it, wasn't too bad. But anything aslong as he has a good heart in him, trust me i've tried bad guys, doesn't work for me, but I can be mean -nod-
I've always leaned towards stealthy investigator types who gather information but can efficiently kill when necessary. So I usually played rangers or fighter/rogue hybrids. But I also have a divine streak in me and I often played clerics and paladins.
The new 4ed DnD pretty much created a class that I've always wanted to play. I actually play one on WoW. I love the concept of a divine avenger, someone who is stealthy, infiltrates and even assassinates for their religion or god. The fine line that my character has to walk in order to remain good is a great theme.
I did once play a simple minded troll who through touching evil went mad and developed multiple personality disorder to help him cope... Extremelly fun to play for both myself and those around me... if not sometimes scary.
usually i play one of two type sof characters:
1. A person bound to dark forces that struggles to do good things in the world despite 'her' attachments to the evil that binds her. I find a woman is more fun in this role.
2. A person who has strong beliefs in doing good and maintains such a situation with a high standing in small community such as a merchant or monk. I usually play this as a man because a woman with strong beliefs I find come out feeling evil..
psychopaths can be great... had one RP a female character in WoW that was just ...creepy, to the point it was hilarious.
Iori would be my favourite MMO character, possibly as she got the longest RP play time of anybody. But she was so fun, such a happy bouncy psychopath :)
We all have them...a favorite characteristic or personality trait or even quirk that we attach to our characters. Some end up just being hilarious, such as a Half-Giant warrior that is so afraid of spiders, he won't go near them even if they endanger the group (which also can create some interesting relationships.. or lack there of). What is your favorite trait or quirk and what is your favorite way to roleplay it ?
