Wandering around aimlessly on the net I came across this game, I am a player of WoW and have been looking for something else to play. On the surface this looks to be much different.
There are standard classes and a few unique ones, I will probably be trying them all out, I usually do before setting on something I like.
The Family aspect of the game peaks my interest the most; The Ardanis, the explorers definitely peak my interest, the DeVoss a close second.
My only confusion is with the deities, with one in particular; Xukiss, he is the Seeker of Knowledge, I am trying to figure out what makes him 'evil' besides how he looks and I have read through the History. If anything I think he should be a neutral god. After all both sides seek knowledge. And I cannot see how members of the Human families of Ardanis and DeVoss wouldn't be followers of Xukiss, considering there is no Human Deity equivalent.
All in all I think I will love the game and desperately hoping that I get in on the testi
I love to see players that get behind the story in a game; it is a refreshing sight.
Your question is valid and a good one at that, I'd like to see some of the content directors maybe comment on it :)
WoW has alot of history, this game's history is (from what I can tell) all being created over the past few years. So far, seems interesting to me. I don't get TOO involved in the history of a game, but I do like to know something about the world I am exploring.
hello and welcome Hauptberg, regarding Xukiss and being evil, I believe that rather than good and evil, Quest are trying to blur the lines a little with order and chaos. This allows deities with more complex behavoiral dynamics to be available to both sides, and yes I do agree with you that there are some gaps but I'm sure I read somewhere that there may be other Deities that have not revealed themselves yet. And from what we have seen so far the game design is very much player driven so once things are up and running if enough people feel there is a gap in there Godly needs I'm sure it will be added as required :)
