This is my first real blog post. I'm going to be blogging about my experiences working at Quest Online. I don't expect that these blogs will be necessarily long. But I do hope that you will get some sort of insight into what it's like working in the MMO and the game industry in general. For this post I'll give a little bit of my background.my name is Jim Younkin and I'm the new Community Manager and Evangelist for Alganon. I have a bachelors degree in art but I've been a gamer all my life. I've been in the game industry for 3 1/2 years. All that has been in the MMO industry both in the development side as well as the marketing side. I'm an avid MMO gamer and I played almost every MMO has been released in the last four years. I'm a resident of Mesa Arizona. Staying indoors and playing games is popular around here due to the heat. Anyways I want to make this too long and I'll post more as time goes along but for now I'll simply say I'm excited to be here with you guys in the Alganon community.
