The portents of death are all around us now. Not since the Talrok entered Xanjuix Karr during The Great Silence has death stalked the land so regularly. I cannot be certain but I fear that some fool may be attempting to awaken The Avatar of Death.
With Death loosed upon the lands the power harnessed in this Bloodgem will be lost. Take the Bloodgem to the Altar of Death in the mountain behind Xas Barrow there you will find the answer. The altar is a weak point in this world where the grasp of Death can still creep through. He will have no choice but to answer this call.
