It's apparent that these obsidian beasts have become infused somehow with the tainted rift energy and I am almost certain that the Skix are behind this. I know Malach's instructions were clear but how can we stand idly by while the Obsidian continue to pose such a threat?
If I were you I would seek out Aydnn Peacemantle in Westshallow see what he has to say about this. To inform Malach of what has taken place here would only infuriate him further.
